It’s Origami time again

Over the weekend I’ve spend some little time to attend origami class organized by Buddhist Gem Fellowship. Sensei teaches us how to fold pumpkins, witch with broom, bat & ghost to make Halloween greeting card.

My origami sensei is a old lovely Japanese couple. While Mrs Sube is teaching in Nihongo, Mr. Sube will translate into English.

Sadly the next origami class does not coincide with my trip back to M’sia. I shall look forward to December month class.

Maggie
Michael.

Do you want to eat my grandma's "suan kia"'

The Real masak-masak

Being away from home, it makes me craving for dishes that used to prepare by my grandmother. Although she never taught me how to prepare, but base on my imaginary and common sense I tested out a couples of dishes.

How it taste? Hahaha.. I think is Okie.. It meet my expectation. (Of coz la… will not condemn own cooking)

Grandma’s old cucumber soup (For 1-2pax)
Ingredient:
1 Old Cucumber, 2 Tomatoes, 100gram of pork ribs, approx 1litre of water, little bit of salt.

Direction:
Wash all the ingredient --> throw into a pot and start boiling. Timing? The longer the better. Add in salt when it almost cook. (Base on individual preference)

hc01

hc02A bowl of rice flooded with old cucumber soup is an ideal meal for dinner.

Baked Bean with Egg (For 1-2pax)
Ingredient: Canned bake bean (Must be Ayam Brand). 2 Eggs (Depend on your preference, If you are not an eggy person then opt of 1 egg.)

Direction: Fried the egg, add in bake bean. Done!

My first time preparing this, I mix the egg and bake bean so ended up with weird bake bean and it’s different from the one was prepared by my grandma. Later on, I realize that the egg need to be fried first. =.=”

Momo The Monster

Momo - it means Peach (桃)in Japanese.
Momo - the name of our cat

Photos that make us adopted her without any hesitation

Hello I'm Momo-chan..

Little monster in action

Get Ready to attack!
That's the way she attack prince albert from the back

*yawn* I'm sleepy

Self Stenching...

Ready to sleep... (Act cute)
All photos above received from Itching on 10/04/2006 :)

Momo's
first week at home. She was so active running around the house.
This is the best shot I can get while chasing after her for photo taking.

Later on, we came back from Kuching and my aunt bought this basket..opss it's handbag. Before she can be the first person to use it, Momo has conquered it.

It has been 3 years she is with us. She is now a playful, naughty, possessive, big bully cat yet still maintain her loveliness in front of us. (Typical cat behaviour)
